These non related pups both came from the shelter with demodex. Demodex is a non contagious form of mange that can be treated, but it does take some time. Sadly, in their condition, they were not available for adoption.
We are happy to say that both were rescued from the shelter by Angel Paws Country Rescue in July. It has been a long road, but they are doing so much better now and will soon be available for adoption! They have been thriving in their foster home, there is a lot of new hair growth and they are playful as ever. As sad as it was that there were two pups in the shelter with this condition, it actually worked out very nice for them since they had each other for company and to socialize with!
If you are interested in either of these pups, please send an e-mail to PAWSRESCUE@YMAIL.COM
Stay tuned for updated pictures!
We hope that Angel Paws Country Rescue's blog will be both informative and fun. We will be posting dogs needing homes, updates and general information for pet owners and pet lovers.
RIP Tina
